I've read the spoilers. Am definitely convinced it's bait until proven otherwise. Here's to hoping the movie as a whole doesn't suck, regardless.

Because of Simon Pegg, and he's blink-and-you-missed-it there. But, it wasn't so bad as I was bracing for! Don't get me wrong, the female characters are those of a Kripke show, as in they take a back seat to the decidedly less interesting male ones, and it starts with a blatant fridging purely for manpain. Having said that, it's very watchable (mostly because of the cast), and the characters, even the minor ones, have enough layers to avoid being uninteresting. Will cautiously try a second season if it gets made.

Because, holy shit. I don't think I mean it in a good way.

Anyone watching season 3? Because that thing David did last season, that made us go 'fuck it, I'm done, they'll never deal with this decently' last season? They're dealing with it rather decently. But, as always, and totally unrelated, needs more Clark.

Happy!

Just finished watching the first season, and it was a lot of fun. Warnings for everything ever, though, including child harm, rape, torture, animal harm and repeated shots of Christopher Meloni's naked arse.

How does Steve know Sam would even want to be Captain America? He's already The Falcon, with his own thing going on. It's as random as if Tony had left on his will Peter is the new Iron Man.

Another happy ending on Black Mirror? (OO) Charlie, dude, you're getting soft XD But seriously, that was awesome and delightful, and I enjoyed it with every piece of my soul not crushed to bits by the previous episode.

Yesterday I took my dad to the doctor. My dad is a slob, and my mom is constantly at his heel telling him to change into fancier clothes, brush whatever hair he has left, etc. But he's also fifty years old, and if he wants to leave the house in muddy shoes and not having showered today so be it. It doesn't reflect bad at my because he's not my toddler son, so it is not my responsability how he presents himself. Explaining this to my mother took roughly half an hour (dad stayed at my house overnight because the doctor is closer and the appointment was very early). The doctor told me he should stop smoking. I told the doctor my dad is mentally sound so he should tell him and not me because I'm his daughter, not his puppeteer. So that went that way. Dad silently made his own tea when we got home, put away the overnight bag he'd previously thrown in the floor when it became clear I wasn't going to, and remembered I don't take after my mom.

Universal's Invisible Man movie might star Elisabeth Moss instead of Johnny Depp. If this is true, I might start looking forward to it instead of vaguely shrugging and thinking 'eww'.

Dude, no

I don't know if you've seen what Ian McKellen had to say about Kevin Spacey and Brian Singer's horrible creepiness, but if you haven't and like McKellen, do your blood pressure a favor and take a deep breath before. Because WHAT.

Wonderful actor and total stone fox, Bruno Ganz, has died. He was awesome in Wings of Desire and the very underrated Faraway, So Close, and was a terrific Jonathan Harker in Herzog's Nosferatu, which you should check out if you can stomach Klaus Kinski.

My sisters and I call our great-grandmother 'old mommy', our grandmother 'mother' (as does everyone, even the neighbours, I don't know why), mum of course is mum, and our aunt Nikki 'little mum' because she lived with us when we were children. D is baffled by this, but to be fair it's only confusing when they're all in the same room.

Wow, that was kinda fucked up. In some ways, while being very funny, it was Dexter levels of dark. Definitely looking forward to the second season.

Right in a massive jump scare, the power went out. Thanks a lot, electric company. I wouldn't have done much with the years you took off my life anyway.

Holy shit, Liam Neeson's segment.

That was not a typo; I'm bored enough to finally watch Iron Fist. Expectations are low but I do hope Ward Meachum and the rest of his terrible family are at least as entertaining as everyone else agreed they were.

They could have had Jared Harris (always great) as young(ish) Dumbledore as fans wanted and maybe Jude Law as Grindelwald? Or keep Law as Dumbledore and Madds Mikkelsen as Grindelwald, since Grindelwald isn't supposed to be British anyway. But Depp's casting was a success in one thing at least: I no longer care to see any Dumbledore/Grindelwald on screen, because EWWW, Johnny Depp. And since everyting else regarding the plot and characters seems to be a massive fail, I'll skip this one.

I will finish my WIP's and most definitely not write any Mr Robot Elliot/Tyrell trainwreck. WTF, brain. Tyrell is one creepy mofo, and not in a redeemable way. We don't ship it. Nope.

So I might have wrote a John Connor-kidnaps-guy-who-looks-like-Skynet-but-its-just-a-coincidence crack!fic. And then Sarah and Kyle Reese might try to rescue or eliminate said guy, who no longer knows how to explain the whole derranged future family he barely knows how to use his smartphone, let alone how to create an AI no matter how in the future, and could you please tell the huge guy to stop trying to shoot me?
